Digital SAT Prep Course

Students will explore background, resources, and test-taking strategies needed to prepare for the Digital SAT. Students will learn strategies specific to the Reading and Writing modules and strategies specific to the Math modules. Students will practice through a variety of SAT questions and timed testing experiences on laptops or tablets using the College Board Bluebook© application. Students will understand what to expect before, during, and after test day and will review resources for the overall college admissions and application process.
Note: Students will need access to a Windows laptop or tablet, a Mac laptop, an iPad, or a school-managed Chromebook with the Bluebook© app downloaded.  Personal Chromebooks cannot be used. You can't run it on a mobile phone. Please contact the Penn State New Kensington Continuing Education Department if the student needs to borrow a testing device.

Although it is not required for the class, students may elect to purchase "The Official Digital SAT Study Guide'' from the College Board.  The Study Guide offers additional practice drills as well as four full practice tests. The ISBN for this book is 9781457316708.  Competitive prices can be found on Amazon, Target, Walmart, etc.
