Counseling Services
Students encounter a great deal of stress during their University years (i.e., academic, social, family, work, financial). While most students cope with it successfully, others can become overwhelmed by the pressures. To help students manage the demands of University life, we provide individual psychological and personal counseling services. Our licensed counselor can assist students in overcoming personal, academic, and/or crisis situations that could negatively impact their progress and success at Penn State New Kensington. Faculty and staff are also eligible for this confidential service.
Health Services
Health Services provides educational programs and medical services to students that are designed to improve their health. Health Services staff work collaboratively to identify and advocate for student needs to provide appropriate high quality, cost effective responses.
Located in the Athletics Center, the Health Services clinic is open to all students registered for the current semester. Faculty and staff are also eligible for emergency care and screenings.
