Penn State New Kensington's Financial Literacy Program gives students the knowledge and skills needed to manage financial resources.
The program is based on the five principles of financial literacy:
- Earning
- Saving and Investing
- Spending
- Borrowing
- Protecting
Every financial decision uses one of these building blocks. Through this program, students gain the knowledge and skills used to effectively manage financial resources and achieve financial goals.
Money Matters Kahoot! Events
Twice a semester, the PSNK Financial Literacy Program hosts a Money Matters Kahoot! Event in Cafe 780 using the Kahoot! game-based learning platform to win prizes. This program is open to all students who are enrolled at Penn State New Kensington.
